The El Sombrero feels to me like a local mom and pop with a touch of azteca for good commercial measure! The service was prompt and friendly, and our orders were ready in record time! This was a Sunday early evening, so the brunch buffet crowd was gone and if a sunday has a dinner rush we were ahead of it. My bacon wrapped shrimp dish was excellent, and the portion ample enough for 2 if you're not starving, or maybe even if you are! The tab was under $40 for 2 before tip and we werent watching prices. I felt it was very reasonable, and we'll be going back sometime.

Small portions, tasteless gross food, with bad service. Chips/water did not get refilled at all unless we asked for them to be.

Nice little place food is great.

I had the side by side burrito option. One Verde and one Colorado. Each swimming in a delicious sauce of red and green. At the top of my plate was a perfectly done blend of spanish rice,and at the bottom a pool of hot cheesy melty refried beans. It was a fantastic lunch to be had with prompt and on the spot service. The staff were friendly, kind and eager to please. All in all, it was a great lunch!

Worst Mexican food I have ever had, it is definitely white people Mexican food. In fact, it tastes like what I imagine Mexican food would taste like if they served in in a nursing home, bland, no flavor whatsoever, nothing special to make me want to come back. I even came back after they had new owners hoping it would be better and no, it's still bland. The only thing that is remotely OK is that they have a Sunday Buffet, and my children, who have no taste whatsoever, love coming here for that.

After a year of different owners since Jose's passing his staff/family that helped the restaurant become sucessful has finally purchased and is now running the El Sombrero in Belfair. The service and the food and the people are back to how it should have stayed.

We celebrated my son's birthday. The food was delicious and generous. My son got a large fresh flan for dessert. It was great. Very clean and friendly staff.

I went in during the work week for lunch. The service was quick and pleasant, and the food was exactly what we expected. I do recommend this restaurant for a casual lunch.

Love this place! The people are always friendly and food fantastic. Have the Chile Reno with caso & shredded beef on top, you won't be disappointed. Of course if carne asada is more your speed that's good too. There's so many good choices and four fantastic ones you really can't go wrong. There's usually a beer or drink special going on as well. ENJOY!!!

I order on my way into town from tiger lake (about ten mins away). The only time my order was not ready when I got there they have me two free drinks. The food is consistently good at a fair price. The service always comes with a smile. El Sombrero is the best Restaurant in belfair. They are also family run so you have the opportunity to support a local business alwell by eating there.

Very good restrant in bel fair...much enjoyed

Pleasant local place for regular Mexican food. Nothing fancy, just good food in a clean, friendly setting. Chips were nice- warm and crunchy, salsa with them not too hot, not too mild. Lotta meat in enchiladas and tamales. Will return on a regular basis.

Always great food, great price and fantastic service every time,!

Pleasant eating experience as the food was good. However the service was slow. It took about 15 minutes before coming to take our drink order so we ordered food at the same time so we did not have to wait for the server to come back, we (party of two) were there 30 minutes before they filled every table and it took a total of about 30 minutes from the time we ordered to get our food. Would eat there again
